The short version: this website sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. It stores only what it needs to work the way you asked, plus one anonymous demo counter that identifies no one, so there is no cookie banner to click.
What we store on your device
| Name | Where | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
vw-theme |
Browser storage (localStorage) | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme | Until you clear your browser data |
vw-motion |
Browser storage (localStorage) | Remembers that you paused animations, if you did | Until you clear your browser data |
vw-lang |
Browser storage (localStorage) | Remembers the language you read the site in, so our home address opens in that language | Until you clear your browser data |
vw-lang |
First-party cookie | Set only when you use the language switch, so our server can send you to that language on your next visit | 1 year |
vw-demo-anon |
Browser storage (localStorage) | Made when you open the live demo: a random id and the demo steps already counted today, for anonymous usage counts (see the privacy notice). Not created if your browser sends Global Privacy Control | Until you clear your browser data |
vw-notrack |
Browser storage (localStorage) | Set only if you open a page of this site with ?notrack=1 at the end of its address (we do this on our own devices so our visits are not counted). While it is set, this browser’s visits are not counted in our PostHog analytics or in the demo usage counts. Opening a page with ?notrack=0 removes it |
Until you remove it or clear your browser data |
vw-demo-tour |
Browser storage for this tab (sessionStorage) | Set only when the live demo is unavailable and the prepared example is shown, so a reload keeps showing the example in this tab. Cleared when the tab closes. |
None of these contain personal data, and none are shared with anyone. The demo counter’s random id reaches only our own server.
Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form and the live demo
When the contact form is sent through our server, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending it. To do this it reads technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address, browser type and connection details, for that check only. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not use these signals for advertising or to follow you across websites. This check is strictly necessary to protect the form from spam and abuse. The live AI receptionist demo runs the same check once, before your first message, to keep automated scripts from using it.
Security cookies from Cloudflare
Our website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. If Cloudflare’s security systems see unusual traffic, they may set short-lived security cookies, such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance, to tell people apart from automated attacks. These exist only to protect the site.
Analytics without cookies
We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies, does not use browser storage to identify you, and does not build a profile of you. We see aggregate numbers only. PostHog, which shows us which pages and buttons on the site are used, also runs without cookies and stores nothing on your device (see the privacy notice).
Booking a call
If we offer online booking and you use it, the booking page runs on Google Calendar, which may set its own cookies on its pages to make the booking work. Google’s own cookie and privacy policies apply there.
Your choices
You can delete cookies and browser storage, or block cookies, in your browser settings. If you clear the preferences this website stored, you will need to choose your theme, language and animation setting again. If you block cookies or browser storage, the website still works, but it keeps these choices only for the page you are on.
If we ever want to add cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this statement and ask for your consent first.
